We’re looking for a Licensed Architect with 10+years of experience and a strong background in quality control and specification writing to help lead the technical precision and excellence of our projects.

About the Role

As a Licensed Architect – Quality Control &Specifications, you’ll play a key leadership role in ensuring our projects meet the highest standards of accuracy, coordination, and constructability. You’ll collaborate across design teams, guide documentation standards, and help shape the firm’s quality assurance processes.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead quality control (QC) reviews for drawings and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain project specifications using MasterSpec or Specpoint.
  • Ensure compliance with codes, firm standards, and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless coordination across disciplines.
  • Mentor staff on documentation best practices and technical detailing.
  • Support the evolution of firmwide QA/QC standards and Revit workflows.

What You Bring

  • Architecture degree (B.Arch or M.Arch) and Architectural Licensure.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in architecture, emphasizing technical production and construction administration.
  • Proven expertise in specification writing and document quality control.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, accessibility, and construction methods.
  • Proficiency with Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and specification tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
  • CSI Certification (CCS or CDT) and/or LEED accreditation preferred.
